Broken plane

Travel to Corfu started well. But…… after boarding plane sat for 3 hours on runway while they tried to fix front stairway which wouldn’t retract into the plane. Eventually, they gave up and transferred us to another plane. Arriving in Carfu 3 hours late and after dark made it more difficult to drive and find our accommodation. However, all's well that ends well..... despite our late arrival we were warmly greeted by the villa manager who after we had quickly settled in guided us to a local Taverna where we were quickly induced in Greek food (and wine) culture.
