Oldies but goodies

We have been clearing out my inlaws house following them having gone into care a few months ago. They are 90 and 95. I dont think they have thrown anything out for a good few years and I  was particularly taken with these three packets which must have been at the back of the cupboard for 30 years.
She was a keen knitter/dressmaker and I have never seen so much wool, material, buttons,.cottons, zips etc etc etc.
He was a carpenter by trade and the workshop was full of wood and tools.
It's a bit sad that it has come down to this - a lifetime being cleared away - but they do seem happier in their new surroundings. It has given me the idea that I must be more ruthless with things I have that I'm never going to use again.
