Wakey wakey!

I removed a plastic sheet which had been covering a pile of soil in the garden. The underside must have had 50 snails attached. I laid it out on the lawn while I dug the soil. When I returned to it 1/2 hr later most of them had slithered off except this little group who were still asleep. The one on the end was just making tentative attempts to enter the world.
