Morning at Gunnista

Showers first thing, cleared up, a fairly sunny late morning and afternoon.  Gales blowing all day.  The temperature has plummeted. 6⁰c, wind chill 3⁰c.

Out on the mini essykert with Cliffy again today.  A morning collecting black bag bins.  In the afternoon we headed south collecting plastic recycling waste.  We headed down small roads where the big essykert can't reach, in Gulberwick, Cunningsburgh, Sandwick and Dunrossness.  Met friend Julie for walkies after tea.  Nipped down to Jonny's this evening, mam and Lena for company too.  Feet up on the sofa, before bed.

Headed to the ferry first thing, the crossing wasn't as rough as I was expecting.  Thankfully most of the showers came over when we were in the essykert.  That wind was biting cold, not ready for winter yet!  The toorie kep (woolly hat) came out this morning, and the PPE gloves kept the chill away from my hands.  When the blue skies starting appearing, it was a good sight.  Taken at 847am, Gunnista, Bressay.
