Wide Wednesday: Modern Or Recent

Unfortunately, our car has recently been redesigned due to someone driving in to the back of it when we were taking Sophie to school this morning. 

Fortunately, no one was hurt but I spent the morning dealing with the aftermath. My insurance company were brilliant: I got straight through to a helpful person on the phone and with in an hour and a half they’d arranged for a courtesy car to be available for tomorrow and for our car to be collected on Friday and taken to a garage to be inspected and, hopefully, repaired.

I initially took it to our local garage and their assessment was that the underlying structural damage (as you can see, the wheel is pointing in a rather alarming direction) means that the cost of repairs might make the insurance company think about writing it off.

We might have to get a more modern one.
