The Pool in the River…..

This is a view of the upper Taylor River from the Meadowbank Station Bridge. The area of dark blue water is a deep pool. It appears that the river has been casually dammed to help develop the pool. I drove to the site early this afternoon to check out the stepping stones crossing further down stream. Over the years I have walked my dogs along the riverside tracks and I plan a walk there with Maisie in the next few days. I am hoping the deep pool will still be there come hot summer days. It would be a perfect spot for both humans and dogs to take a quick cooling dip in the clear, clean, cool waters.
