Notes: Slept about 5 hrs straight thru! Up early and packing more, Susan came about 20 min late and I was on phone w/ storage and they gave away my unit I reserved! Was not happy. Called back when we got on the road and they had one slightly smaller left so I paid for it. Got there and only a maintenance guy was around w/ no access to computers ... a bit stressful but was able to docusign thru the phone - and instantly got the email w/ unit # and gate entrance - thank God! We got everything in pretty quickly and it seems like a size that will work. We then headed to Ellen's studio and got the 4 bins I had there from the other day when boarding up Carlene's house ... and we took those back and got in storage also. To Gulfport then and borrowed a dolly from the Windsor building (pic shows a couple views on 58th St S right around Town Shores). On to S Pasadena for Susan to pick up a prescription at Publix and then we headed north. Decided in Tyrone area to stop at Total Wine - I got a 6-pack of the Penn's Best NA and bought Susan 2 bottles of wine. We got back and tried the dolly on the fireplace - Eric was just on lunch and was able to come and help. It wasn't too bad and we got it into the back of my car with little trouble! Decided to wait on another trip down then - tired and didn't feel like being in traffic again. I changed and went to pool tho no chairs and tables turned upside down for Hurricane Milton prep - many have evacuated, no gas is available at stations everywhere and I guess the highways are a parking lot w/ those trying to get out of the state. I feel good about staying. Pool time was cloudy and short but swam a little and talked to a neighbor and then headed back, showered off and felt I couldn't go anymore. Laid on the chaise in the living room and slept ~ 1 hr - woke up chilly (shocking and I was wrapped in a blanket and hadn't turned AC on) and again felt like I had just re-entered this realm! Decided it was a good time to eat something so warmed the small roasted chix from the freezer and put it in my last coconut wrap w/ hummus and kalamata olives. As I was getting food ready, got a notice from Uhaul for my trailer reservation - they moved me all the way down in St Pete. I called and got a smaller size reserved for mid morning Thurs (assuming it gets returned as the hurricane is passing thru Wed night supposedly).Had a piece of my carnivore cake at 5p, day has just flown! Quiet night, streamed a couple episodes of Kaos. Quite tired!
