Helado

We passed more of Calatrava’s sculptures on our way to the beach this morning, these look like ice cream cones to me. Lovely breeze today so didn’t feel so muggy. However as soon as we arrived at the beach it clouded over and the sun didn’t come back out until we were on the way back to our flat. We relaxed and then did washing and shopping in the afternoon. Everything closes down tomorrow as there’s another big fiesta happening. The Valencians seem to have them on a regular basis. This one starts at midnight with a big firework display. Mr P and I are off to the Turia Gardens soon to watch it.
We’re normally asleep by then, so I hope I can stay awake!
