Building

It was a relatively quiet day. A lot of time was spent working on the next few development stories. I went to the Co-Op at lunchtime but ended up with a sweet-and-sour microwave meal rather than something healthy.

By the end of the day, my watch showed that I hadn't moved much, and I decided to take a walk to get my steps done. I did the reverse of my morning walk; I don't know why I went the other way around the block.

I walked past the Junction Tavern/Railhose pub, which has been closed for many years. Pre-pandemic planning permission was granted to turn it into flats, but nothing happened. An extension on the left appeared at some point, but work stopped partway through construction, and it remained like that for a long time. Now, there's a lot of activity, and the whole building has been wrapped in scaffolding. I assume building work is underway. I wonder what will be revealed?
