Gordon dropped me off this afternoon at the Pharmacy in Appleby so I could get a flu jab - our Medical Centre couldn’t cope with my not wanting both Covid and Flu at the same time! Then he went to the Gym.

I found out that pharmacies can claim £9.58 from the NHS for each vaccine they deliver, so I was pleased that this pharmacy is now independently owned since Boots closed it this year and it changed hands - I’m happy for them to get the money, rather than Boots who make far too much money from the NHS.

I was going to walk round to the Gym but it was raining so I went into the cafe opposite and read my book. I took this photo from the cafe Bojangles - the building opposite with the lovely windows is the Bangladeshi/Indian Restaurant 7eventy1 (excellent it is too). I presume the caterpillar is this one.
