Sulphur Dioxide

Today we went to Whakarewarewa - The Living Māori Village. We decided on the self-guided geothermal trails and had a lovely wander around the steaming lakes and boiling mud pools. See first extra too.The smell of sulphur dioxide was everywhere, although in some places worse than others.
In the afternoon we walked along to the Governor's Gardens where they are still repairing the museum which was damaged in the 2016 earthquake. See second and third extras.
