I wondered why the the 'fountain' in the square was fenced-off this morning. 

It may be connected to a notice by the gate that ' the seats have been removed due to antisocial behaviour', which, it seems, includes 'disturbing local residents' and 'using the bushes as a toilet'. If this continues then the gardens will be locked at night.

Meanwhile' someone is still putting masses of food out for the pigeons, who cause enough mess of their own.
