The big lake

We had a mountain walk today in the Pelister national park. Great weather for it - clear skies and a little breeze.
The walk took us up to 2 lakes - the big one , and the small one! At the big lake we met a group who had arrived in a vehicle, on an ‘off road’ tour. A couple of the guys had a dip in the lake which was pretty brave as it was really cold up there.
The walk up was a steady climb up a clear path but our route down was a bit trickier and we were pretty tired by the time we returned to the van.
Then it was a quick shower, change and out to the opening performance of Bitola’s classical music festival. An interesting evening although none of us really know classical music - so an hour and a half was enough and we managed not to fall asleep.
