Another sunset?

We head over to Meols again this morning; the car - even the replacement version -  must almost know its own way by now! The plan is to get there in time to visit Churn and Chill far an ice cream treat before I start my pre-colonoscopy fast, and I manage  a blackberry sorbet with dark chocolate and sea salt. 

I’ve been hoping for a good sunset, but yet again my hopes are dashed. Still, the sea grasses and the tidal pools make for an interesting foreground and there’s lots of interest in the sky. 

Then it’s time for the dreaded Moviprep G enjoys his evening meal from M&S while I enjoy my glasses of the noxious liquid. Strictly provides a welcome distraction, but we have to watch it on catch-up so it can be paused at critical moments - I’ll say no more! 

Meanwhile, in the Lake District Lili has her first playground visit. The smiles say it all!
