At Last............

....after the most stressful week ever, we arrived in the UK and No.2 took a selfie of all of us.

We had driven 1000 miles through the night and No.2  had driven from Kent and taken the shuttle and we managed to rendezvous within 15 minutes of our scheduled time (and would have been early if his Sat Nav was not playing up).

It was the longest and most uncomfortable journey I have ever taken in a car (BMW x series something?) including a hilarious (in retrospect) 3 hours trying to get comfortable to sleep in a French service station.  

However we are all so relieved to be home on British soil.  We had dinner (although I still can't eat much) and an early night.
