It's exhausting being on holiday!

Had a nice surprise today. Went down to Dorset to visit Louise but she hasn't told me that Mary and her parents were already there! The previous day they had all been to the beach and then Mary slept for 16 hours! Today was a quiet day on the farm with a barbecue before milking. Mary fell asleep on her daddy half way through.

It's now post milking down time, with cups of tea and some lemon cake. Mary's wide awake, fascinated by one of the chickens that's very sociable and has been hanging out with us. All in all, a perfect day.

I love these lazy summer days!
