If Life gives you Lemons…
…grate ‘em, chop ‘em, freeze ‘em.Then you always have the zest for cakes and frozen lemon for drinks.
By the way, I always buy organic lemons because the waxed and the unwaxed have awful chemicals on the skin to preserve them. These chemicals can cause cancer, it’s the same with oranges though if you don’t use the orange peel for baking and cooking it should be OK.
This afternoon I did some art in the ‘sanctuary’ it was so warm and sunny in there and deadheaded the roses in the garden and chopped the bushes back. Except the one in extra ;-)
Frank walked all the way to Long Preston and back with Bella where he had a pint in The Maypole. It’s about 5 miles there and back. I didn’t feel like going today.
Tomorrow is Melanie’s birthday. Unfortunately we can’t go up to see her as Frank has an endoscopy on Monday and I have to go with him. Melanie doesn’t mind though, she will be at Sabrina’s for a Birthday tea.
I haven’t said before but on the last MRI scan a few weeks ago they saw something that they want to investigate further. For this he has to go to Bradford Royal Infirmary as they have specialist equipment there.
Fingers crossed it is nothing bad.
We’re still watching Capital - it’s a good mystery drama.
Goodnight :-) X
