Through the arch
I went up to the pharmacy to try to buy an elbow support as I have developed golfer's elbow, the same tendonitis as tennis elbow but on the inside of the elbow. Tennis and bell ringing are no doubt the cause. The lady at the chemist was very good and measured my arm and looked up various possibilities in her catalogues but had nothing in stock. As it would have it, I met Bernard, my hitting partner, in the market and he proposed lending me a support for today's quarter peal attempt and tomorrow's match. I have been icing my elbow and I should be able to play but maybe not give it the rest it needs... It has been a lovely, sunny autumn day. The bellringers are having a barbecue this evening which should be a very pleasant evening.
