Looking North
Looks promising outside initially, then haar rolls in for the morning. Looking very grim over the hills. It does clear after morning coffee, the sun finally making a re-appearance. The pre lunch walk is cloudy initially, but clear as we go on. There is a lot of moisture on the grass as we walk through the park.
After work, there is blue sky above us, but the cloud is still hanging on to the Pentland Hills, Extra. Main blip is a view over Edinburgh. Glinting in the sun in the centre of the photo is the W Hotel building. Its architecture has been very controversial. The hotel has been dubbed, politely, 'Walnut Whip', or the ruder 'Golden Turd' (with other poo related terms available). It is now for sale, along with the owners 1/4 share of the St. James' Quarter (Does that make it 1/16? ;-) ) shopping centre. You'll need deep pockets though, the 1/4 stake in the shopping centre alone is worth at least £25o million.
