No waves today! & yes we do have wifi again!
Ann went for a swim with 10 of her 'Dippers & Swimmers' group today. It was a lovely morning and there were hardly any waves, so Ann said, 'Trixie, let's practise your sea swimming because next year I want you to be able to join me in the sea.' For those of you who read our Blips regularly, you will know................ I'm scared of waves. Obviously I can swim, but I don't like it when waves come crashing over my head. Ann doesn't like it when waves come crashing over her head either. Anyway, today it was nice and calm, so Ann threw my ball into the sea and I had to swim to retrieve it. I was very good at retrieving my ball and I was very good at swimming so Ann was very pleased with me. However, when all her friends turned up, I went straight into 'good dog mode' and lay guarding all her stuff. I really am the best! Everyone comments on what a good little Collie I am and the people who don't have dogs, all say if they did get a dog they'd want a one like me. Ann always feels like the proudest Collie pup mummy in the world when she goes swimming with her dippers & swimmers.
However, all this swimming has exhausted me. I went straight into my bed when we got home. I didn't even bother to eat my breakfast. And then at about 3 O'clock, Ann woke me up and made me go for a walk up Rosewall Hill. I'm back in my bed again now.
Ann's a bit worried that she's over exerted me. Even now, more than 5 years later, she still compares me to 'MollyCollie'. MollyCollie never got tired. Even when she seemed tired, she was always ready to go on another walk or have another play with her ball. In comparison I'm pretty lazy. There again I'm a much smaller Collie with much shorter legs and Ann has had me since I was a teeny, weeny little puppy so she's moulded me into her lazy lifestyle. Lol!
...............And in other news....................... If anyone is wondering if we are actually connected to the internet again.............. Yes we are but Ann's been too busy/too tired to help me write much on my Blips. After two weeks of no broadband (see here, here, here, here, here & here), we got re-connected to our wifi on Tuesday. Actually as our very lovely neighbour, Amy, let us connect to hers, it hasn't been that much of a problem, but that's not the point?! Talktalk didn't know that!!!
The BT Openreach guy, Ryan, who came to sort out our problem, couldn't have been more helpful. Wish the same could have been said about the Talktalk team. …........Absolutely apalling service. We were supposed to get a 'call back' on Tuesday between 2-4pm to check that everything was OK. ................We didn't?! ..............Ann had to swap shifts at work to make sure she was in for the Open Reach guy and also the Talktalk call back who said that she had to be in the house so that they could check the equipment.
My human was at work on Wednesday (instead of Tuesday) and had a missed call from them asking if everything was OK so that they could confirm that the problem (that they caused) had been resolved? She's not going to respond to that voicemail until Monday. Why should she?…............. They didn't respond to her within three working days, so she's not going to respond to them until the 3 working days is up. And as Talktalk told her...................... 3 working days starts from tomorrow, not the day you phone them, even if you phone them at 9am in the morning. Their customer service is non-existent and as soon as our contract ends we will be changing providers. OK rant over!!!
PS - Yes Ann did fill out the feedback form to tell them what she thought of their service??!!!
