Forever changing

I’ve blipped my evening before setting off so often.

I’m at Gatwick but it’s undergone yet another make over. Just before Covid, it was possible to have an overnight and 15 days parking for less than £90.  Now you have to drive to car parks miles away and take their bus to the terminal. Prices have rocketed and the hotels seem to be totally redesigned.

I’ve stayed at the Hilton before. Just a downward sloping tunnel and you’re in the South Terminal. No non-existent pricey Hoppa. 

The bedrooms used to be functional (and half the price.) WiFi was poor and astronomic prices. Now the design is innovative and all WiFi free. It’s a different world.

It’s close to the planes but there’s no super vantage point for photography. I’ve been for a little explore and found a Japanese restaurant. I’m tempted to try……….now r..e..l..a..x………..
