...local boy made good in Great Malvern...

Travelled down yesterday and had a very comfy night at the Premier Inn!

This morning a quick wander round the town, before heading to see Penny and Bill at coffee time.

Penny had a total knee replacement 8 weeks ago, and her recovery has so far been painful, slow and frustrating. Her partner doesn't drive so they are both getting a bit stir crazy!

After coffee and a chat, Penny decided she was up for a trip out, so Roy drove us all in her car to the Chase Inn for lunch and some great views around the Malvern Hills.

Post lunch we headed to Ledbury, a smart "black and white" town, for a wander and coffee at The Feathers ( see extra ).

A takeaway to end the day - and Penny said how much she had enjoyed the outing and a change of scene. She's just starting to feel more positive about ever getting her knee to bend!
