An ordinary life....

Making a splash...

The day dawned and the sun shone :-)

D, P & Lola headed to the Clone Estate for Lola's walk.  P got some lovely shots of her.

Back in time for a cooked brunch then after much debate, a route for today was decided.  Drive to Crieff, through the Sma' Glen then turn left at Amulree and drive through Glen Quaich, up the hill and over Urlar Moor, dropping down to Kenmore at Loch Tay.  It was a lovely drive, with stops for photos, then out the car at Kenmore and a wander along the water's edge.

There was a lady with her dog at the water's edge and the dog was having the time of its life catching sticks thrown into the water for her.  I was sorry we'd left Lola at home as she would have had great fun, although been very wet for the second time today.

We went for a cuppa at the Courtyard Brasserie in Kenmore and decided on a change of route from there.  We had planned to head to Loch Tummel and Queen's View, ending up at Pitlochry Dam, but the dam would be closed by the time we got there, so instead we headed along Loch Tay to Killin and the Falls of Dochart, then on to Lochearnhead, along Loch Earn, ending up back at Crieff and then home.  A nice round trip :-)

Homemade lasagne and salad for dinner and D spending time trying to find a holiday house for us in Northern Ireland next year using P's excellent knowledge of the area.  We're still looking, as despite there being many houses, when you add accessibility into the mix the choice drops drastically.

So another lovely day with my blip pal.  I am so happy that the weather has been good and P has been able to see Perthshire at its best :-)

Still some time to do a little local exploration tomorrow as we head out for lunch before taking P to catch his train to Glasgow.  How time with us has flown past!

P.S. That's not mist on the loch but smoke from heather fires on the hills (controlled) Pic in extra.  The air was so still it just lingered rather than be blown away.
