Braid Burn

A very damp day, but not flooding as has happened elsewhere in the UK. No pre lunch walk as the rain was fairly heavy, but hoping the sunny spells forecast for the afternoon appear. 

Afternoon walk was in light rain though. The rain bearing clouds are being very stubborn. However it is light enough for a fairly pleasurable walk in fresh ait. The park is quite busy with dog walkers. Blip shows the Braid Burn flowing under Comiston Rd. I need to kneel right down to get the shot looking through the tunnel. Water that is falling into the burn here comes from a drain on the road. The rain goes off a little bit on the way home, but no sunny spells.
