Beautiful little Pickle was put to sleep today. It's just the worst part of the job. Even though they are not yours, you still get very very attached to them. 

He had quite a few problems that were worsening over time but the most serious being a problem with his eye which meant he would lose it. At 14 yrs old his lovely mum decided not to put him through surgery and said goodbye today. She will miss him so much as she is a widow and Pickle was such good company for her. 

He was such a sweet little dog. I had him every day and I'm really going to miss him and his mum.  Sleep tight little Pickle. Run free with your Dad xxx
