Very disappointing day. After a 5am start and all the bathing and plaiting we were devastated to break down on our way to the NAF BRC dressage champs. This was Eva's first big competition that she had to qualify for and we'd done so much prep and she's worked so hard to get ready for it. 

To try and find a positive, at least we weren't too far from home as a few more mins into the journey and we'd have been on a motorway. Fortunately I was able to get someone to come from the yard in her lorry to pick up Jack (but as it was a 4hr round trip to get to the champs, no chance of a lift any further!) And I waited for the recovery truck. A few tears from Eva but really proud of her for not making a massive fuss- she's taken it on the chin. 

When I finally got back to the yard we got him tacked up and did our own dressage comp- Ellie and Susan scored it. They both looked so smart (see extras). I felt a little bit heartbroken for them :0(
