Tributes

No bus pass walk today as 13 of us made up a choir for a celebration of life for L,  a lovely lady who was one of our congregation. The. church was filled with the most amazing flowers.  Wonderful tributes from L's husband, sons and sister, some lovely hymns, and one of my favourite pieces of music at the start - Benedictus from The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins - just beautiful.  We then went to the golf club (course view from the clubhouse in extras), and you can see some of the flowers in the main photo, along with "Ghost" a funny doll bought by L's boys which L had kept with her whilst she was was ill. The flowers taken up to the golf club were in individual bunches, and L's husband kindly distributed them as we were leaving. To L - a very kind lady who will be greatly missed.
