Awaiting the Rain…..

…… And I was waiting all day for rain to start falling. It has been dull, cloudy all day.
The weather forecast is pretty grim for some parts of New Zealand. Strong winds, very heavy rain and even snow in the mix. Winter weather has merged into spring.
I photographed this rural scene early this morning. It looks to the southwest and the distant Wither Hills. It looked to me as if those hills were slightly misty with rain.
