The Beaver Road Footbridge…..

…….. Over the Taylor River…. If I need to cut short our walk I will cross over the bridge at this point rather than further downstream. When there is a flood in the river the water can rise up over the deck of the bridge and it is barricaded off.
It’s been sunny with a brisk northwest wind here today. The lawns had dried out enough for me to mow them.
There was a sharp, short earthquake at 5.50pm. Magnitude 5 and 25 km northeast of Seddon, . The quake was out to sea and many folk reported on feeling it. I didn’t feel it as I must have been moving around. Fingers crossed it was just an isolated jolt!
