The Caged Bird

I finally got myself to the ocean for a morning walk. It’s been awhile. The big stumbling block is having to get dressed, put on shoes and socks….  Our heat wave continues, but not nearly as bad as yesterday. An 84 degree high is manageable. Even so, I stayed inside most of the day, knitting and drawing. It’s Inktober—the month for drawing something in ink every day. There is a list of prompts on line, but also a list of Zentangle prompts, which is more to my liking at the moment. It will be a challenge to do it every day. We’ll see.
