The great autumn days continue.

Every morning we sit outside for that first cup of tea or coffee.  Today we skipped breakfast after the initial hot drink, and ended up in town at Cafe Sigrid for lunch. We both took the "Healthy buffet" option. Usually I'm a little suspicious of "healthy food" but in this cafe it means healthy and delicious.
A couple of days ago, after seeing the film "Perfect Day" I wrote about "komorebi"  Literally translated from Japanese, it means “sunlight leaking through trees”, and here is the genuine thing, with just a small burst of sun leaking through.
Part of my day's adventures was a wander through the Town Park on the way to the library. The building in the background was a school where I worked for many years so I was in this park nearly every day at that time. It's a great place to be taking photos on yet another perfect autumn day.
After this we moved on to the beach at Smitingen. Jan has an excellent extra photo on her blip, showing how blue the sky was, how clear the air was, and what lovely feet we both have! My extra is also from the beach, showing sun and light reflecting from the sea and the short-lived pools of sea water left by the gentle waves.
Later in the day I put in a long session getting our blackberry patch under control. I removed most of the old canes, leaving those that grew this year, which will produce next years berries. I supported the ones I left so they won't get bashed down by the snow storms this winter.  It all looks very neat and tidy now.
A question to any gardening experts out there... Some of the old canes had new "branches" growing out of them, and I suppose those new sections would also produce berries next summer. Am I correct in that supposition?
After a day in the warm sun it felt really cold by the time I finished that job and it was getting dark. Turned out to be down to 5°C, which is a bit chilly if you are as lightly dressed as I was.
