Busy busy busy at the cafe today! People who hadn't booked were lucky to get a table. The time went by quickly...

I had some of the famous Usual Place lentil soup before heading off to the shops.

Jess and I walked to Routin Brig and along to the Cairn, where she paddled and I took photos of floating leaves.

Cooked up a big pot of comforting chickpea stew with the last of the rosemary from the garden. D had brought in lots of firewood, so we might light the stove tomorrow. We have been holding out so far and wearing our woolly jumpers :-)
