Sunset

I decided to go with a sunset photo tonight.

I need to get another bag of mulch before I can say today's job is finished. We didn't have quite enough mulch to finish one edge of the bed. Today's job consisted of some lawn repair after they had the sewer line replaced, rebuilding the front walkway that had to be removed when they did the sewer line and cleaning up the garden between the walkway and the house. There may be more work there in the future, depending on the tenant who moves in. The house is a rental and the owner got my name from the property management company. I want to develop a relationship with this company. They have a few hundred homes that are rented thru them and I am sure that some of them could use some gardening services.

Last week St saw a couple of posts in a FB group from people wanting some garden work done. She put my name in on both of them, both people contacted me for a quote and we will be doing both jobs.

The potluck picnic was cancelled tonight. I think the organizer forgot that he had planned a karaoke night. And it would have been a nice evening to sit outside. The temperature this afternoon was 21 C. When I went outside to take this photo at 7:30 it was still warm enough to be sitting outside.

Edited to add I just received an email about another quote that I sent and she has given me the go ahead on that job too. A new owner, but not a new property for me.
