I delivered church magazines in morning then got in my car to go to Windermere for a few groceries. It started, though rather sluggishly. I reversed a metre or so, it stalled and wouldn’t restart. Before I called the AA I thought it best to charge the battery. For the eagle eyed blippers I did switch it to 8 amps. I didn’t think the battery was at fault but have been known to leave a door slightly open which has drained it.

5 hours later it still wouldn’t start. Disconnected the charger, closed the bonnet and left it until morning.
