-4 and Counting

Now that the excitement of yesterday’s party has died down , I am left with 4 days of saying goodbye to people and places. I find it hard to leave a place that is dear to me even if I hope to be back again next year and difficult to say goodbye to the ladies I have seen every day for so many weeks. Some of them may make it down to Edinburgh in the next few months for whatever reason and I can meet up with them again before next year and the others are always on a WhatApp group to be contacted if necessary.

To day I popped in to the Quernstone to say goodbye to Elaine and in the afternoon I said au revoir to EllyJay who I keep in touch anyway on Blipfoto
I am lucky that the weather is set fair it seems for the next few days and the tide is high at 9am which is also a blessing.

I have dispatched a parcel of wool and crocheted blankets,  products of my down time here, to my long suffering neighbour in Edinburgh and now I’m hoping I don’t exceed the 15Kg luggage allowance for the flight south.
