The flight down from Portland was packed and the delay was longer than the actual flight time, but never mind! Great to be in SF again, I forgot how much I missed the buzz of being in a city. Some changes since I left, bike lanes everywhere, some new skyscrapers have been added to the skyline... The Embarcadero was a mess of traffic, the America's Cup stuff adding to it all.

Up to Potrero Hill to Uncle R's place then out to dinner at Universal Café on 19th St and Bryant. A very nice evening with Uncle R and Uncle A.
