Imposing

Drove this morning to church in Viana do Alentejo, where our friend, Padre Luís, is now living. That's him in green in the middle of the white altar cloths. The church, like here, is within the castle, but is rather grander. He is obviously doing a good job, the large church was pretty full.

A martini in a traditional bar on the way to a great lunch with him, and good conversation.

Unexpectedly, an invite to Sem Fim, decided to go for the community aspect. Please forgive rushed commenting, it's been a full day.

Gratefuls:
- catching up with Padre Luís, we still miss him
- good Portuguese food and wine, twice in one day!
- chatting with Eileen's daughters, one manages a large dairy farm in Australia, interesting to hear (next door to a large, around a thousand, camel dairy farm)
