Autumn colours
I don't know why but I had a very broken night's sleep. And of course, I started to fall asleep as it was time to get up.
Had a catch up with the girls, well mainly Amelia, and #1 son. Filled me in on yesterday's Highland Games but Amelia waves the phone around so almost induces motion sickness.
Before it was time to go next door for for Coffee Club with Y and J I updated my diary. It's going to be a busy few weeks. There was a another catch up about holidays in Halkidiki and Spain and of course roadworks. The weather was good enough to be out in the garden and that's where I repaired. Did some more cutting back and tidying up in the front and then moved to the back. It was hard going in the front mainly because of lack of food. In the back I tidied up some of the rockery plants and then had a go at the ivy. Got quite a lot hacked back but I'll need the steps to do the rest.
I've also made some soup, booked a belated birthday meal for #3 son and I'm cooking real food for dinner - no tatties but rice with additions and some steak and loads of veg. There is tv to catch up on. My time in the garden has calmed my soul, it was so still.
