Crepuscular rays

I took our friends on Magical mystery tour this afternoon. We called in at a couple of farm shops and ended up at the top of the North Downs at Bluebell Hill looking south over the Vale of Holmesdale to the Weald of Kent.

It’s been many a year since I was last here. Maybe 30 years yet we come past the turning regularly on the way from the M2 when coming home.

The light was a challenge, but it was either this or a shot of a toy monkey clinging to a palm tree surrounded by plastic fruit in one of the farm shops.
