Sunshine!

... and showers.   Oh, and we've had March Winds too.

Crocus nudiflorus, a small group in a trough out front were looking nice this morning.  I also saw a couple of very late Painted Lady butterflies, an extra of one of them.

A day off, taken fairly gently.   A short morning outing to drop off some slate coasters that Jamie has printed railway photos onto at the railway shop, the last lot sold out quickly.   I has a couple of pottery train plaque samples to show to the manageress.  An extra pic of one of them.  They got the thumbs up so I will go into small scale production over the winter so they can be on sale when the 2025 season starts in April.

After lunch a lovely walk with C and the Megs.  C is visiting the area again.  It was certainly bracing walking in the cold northerly blast and we were treated to a short shower on our way back from Tonfanau beach.   On my way home I stopped as pottery and finished the glazing that I had started last night.  There's now ten of my pieces lined up for a glaze firing this weekend - an extra of seven of them.  I'll try and repeat the collage when they are finished.  They're not all the same size despite the impression given!

Home to cook a tasty curry for my tea and then a quiet night in.
