Heading home after a day with Ruth in Birmingham. Her hospital appointment was really helpful, explaining how and why Salmonella can occasionally be difficult to eradicate. A plan of action to see the end of it plus the understanding that another problem that’s already being investigated may well be driving the issue. Real hope for better health ahead.

We also put up some new cat proofing in the garden. As this involved using power tools, not something I am known for prowess at, the details are best glossed over. Suffice to say that we got the job done in the end :-)
