Bologna!!

The Bologna back blips start here! Only four full days but so much beauty. Please do have a look, including the extras.

Today was meant to be the worst of the weather during our stay, but we felt really lucky that it was mild with hardly any rain. I hadn’t realised just how central our accommodation was, but it was an easy 10 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore which really is the centre of the old town. We didn’t have a plan other following our noses and they did not lead us astray. We were a tad disappointed that the Due Torre were closed off but we weren’t planning to climb them in any case. It was just such a delight to walk under the porticos, stop for coffee and just watch the world go by. Even the graffiti seemed charming! 

We’ve been waiting for this trip for a while since it had to be postponed nearly six months ago due to my foot operation. It was worth the wait!
