Norway Maple ( Acer platanoides )

First some thoughts on yesterday's operation.  Not as scary as I imagined!  My eyes were very sensitive to light having been dilated hence the dark glasses in Clickychick's blip.  By bedtime there was slight discomfort so to ensure a goodnight's sleep i took painkillers.  This morning the eye was gummed shut, however this was anticipated as I was supplied with sterile wipes.  Once the eye was open from the feeling point of view from then on it was normal.  The sight was still a little blurry.

Not expecting much in the way of blip opportunities I wandered the garden in the morning and this splash of autumn colour attracted me.  Later we had a walk round the village passing the cottage where we began our married life.
