It's all about the money

Ellon Castle gardens have been closed to the public since the year 1715, there has been some campaigns over the years to re-open them again.
This cutting from one of our local papers, The Ellon Times, is about the latest venture, setting up a charity for the cause.
The last paragraph featured here really made me laugh. Although I see where this person is coming from, the fact that they sound as if they are living up to the reputation of us parsimonious Scots, and remembering the £5 that they spent 25 years ago, is wonderful.
It really is all about money in the end.
