Chaos

Of the kitchen refurbishment kind.  Everything below worktop height is being replaced (cabinets and fronts, plus new taps). Cheaper than a full Monty job - everything else is in good nick so it’s better value for money and more environmentally friendly. 

We’ve lived here 28 years bar the shouting and this is our third upgrade. I think the one we inherited when we moved in dated from the late 70s. Speckled green - sorry avocado - with oak trim. I found something like it on the web (see extra). 

Funny thing fashion. We always laugh at what we were like but it seems cool at the time. If you’ve never been there the Museum of the Home is worth a visit.
