Bye bye trees. Hello possible future parking area

Over the last couple of years, we've been lucky enough to find two really good gardeners to do our hedges when needed. It isn't cheap, but then again, we're at the stage where physically it is not as easy to do them now.

While they were here over the last couple of days, I asked them to cut down part of our hedge, as half of the pines were dead. The idea is to eventually turn the left hand part into a parking area. After my FIL passed away, he left us his seldom used Renault Kangoo. So we now have 3 vehicles.

At the moment the Kangoo lives at house number 2 (PIL's old house), with our Grand Scenic and Mega Breadvan here at our place. Eventually house number 2 will end up rented out - so the Kangoo will need to be parked somewhere else. 

Added to which our son is starting driving lessons soon, so I'm sure he'll end up using the Kangoo. Then our daughter will one day have a vehicle. 

So some forward planning...
