Hebe

The most exciting thing that happens today is we get our replacement car - a who,e week after our Kia Niro was declared unfit to drive. It’s come all the way from Rochdale on a car transporter lorry - and according to the driver, he regularly makes these trips into North Wales or even as far north as Aberdeen.  Crazy!

It’s almost a like-for-like EV, but without the gizmos of our own car. I really miss the heated seats, for example, which were wonderful for my back, and there are lots of things G misses as the driver. Still, we’re grateful to have it - though we’ve no idea how long this will be for.

We drive into Llandudno to empty our ‘old’ Kia of walking boots, poles, waterproofs, umbrellas etc - all the detritus that usually ends up in our vehicle. I’ve considered a trip to West Shore for some photography, but in the end just want to get back home to have a rest before Camera Club tonight, so today you have the tiny escaping florets of our Hebe, tiny dancers in the very welcome late afternoon sunshine.
