BEST DRINK OF THE DAY

This little fellow was having a drink this morning from our water feature...I got the impression he wanted to dive in !!

Cleaned out the water feature this morning as it was a bit smelly. You can always tell when it needs doing because Merlot won't drink from it: he is quite happy now sitting there sipping from it with a straw !

Also done a running repair on the garage door frame as it has a little rot at the base. I've dug out the rot & filled it ready for a primer undercoat next week.

Tidied the gravel drive a bit too as there was a lot of "dust" gathering at the front door which was treading in. Have ordered a few bags to top up next week .

Cooler start to the day today but it is heating up now & the cloud is clearing to reveal blue skies.

Carol has gone to see her mum - I'm watching the Golf Open from Muirfield as I type this.

The Best - saw her 28 July 1990 at Woburn Abbey - wow !
