Santa María de Villamayor

The abbey of Santa María was established in the year 1003 in Villamayor. The abbey no longer exists but its apse does, and is incorporated into the council offices. The photo shows a detail of the east window and the corbels around it. Extra shows the old south door, still in its original location but now marking the point where the old apse joins with the new structure.
