Sunday Morning

Jess was off to St Bees for a "dip" and I tagged along, she was joining friends with RX4 who promote wellbeing through various outdoor activities. This turned out to be the anniversary of their St Bees dip and I estimated around 100 brave souls going in the water.
I picked around in rockpools and took in the scene down the beach. The sun was in front and made some nice silhouettes. 
I was trying to capture the sun rays in this pic with the water snaking across the beach, 2 children were running in and out of the scene which made a nice point of interest. Initially I did not think the image was particularly interesting. Now I look at this in detail, there are other elements I like, including the abandoned bike and the two horses down the beach with Black Combe looming in the background.
